If I'm lucky they can take as little as one hour, but sometimes it takes A LOT more! :D
This one took about two hours and a half, not counting the building of the gif and uploading...

This digital doll is simply adorable! My favorite thing about about this piece has to be the tail. I love how you added the bows; to give it a little bit something special. :D

:) I'm happy that you like it! I had my moment of frustration deciding in what side to place each of her ornaments, since all of the references were viewed from the side! :D

that's a cool way to make the texture for the tail with a small texture!

:iconmolegato:

For the tail itself I use roughtly 8 pixels! (could have used even less, like just one pixel per exact color)

yeah, stretching the UV it will work
can i have a look at the wireframe and the uv layout if there's no problem?

Well, I'm studying the possibility of starting a patreon and showing wireframes, uv and textures as part of the reward system, so I'm reticent about doing it right now. I can show you some of my older ones privately if you really want, though.

btw blender now has a support for paint symmetry in the latest builds, it may save you some time

:D I paint my textures outside of it, and use the mirror modifyer for 90% of the process, so I've got that covered!

That said, the queue limit is of 30 (I'm planning on lowering it) and it's exactly 30 right now, so if you want one you'll have to keep an eye on my profile and send me a note as soon as there's a free spot. :)

Also, butterflies? I thought those were ribbons with a yellow heart brooch, and I hope they look like that... :|

A tutorial is something very requested lately, so maybe eventually I will. Or, if I end up starting a patreon or similar, I'd include tutorials regularly. Who knows! :)

:D Infinetly thin, actually! They're two-sided planes, which I admit, I use a lot for lots of different things on these models. Also helps keeping the polygon count low.
